1. About us
StrutMate UK ("we", "us", "our") is a UK-based supplier of pre-assembled vehicle suspension strut units and related parts. Contact: strutmate@protonmail.com.
2. Quotes
Any quote we provide is an estimate only based on the vehicle details you supply. It is not a binding offer and may be revised once we confirm part availability, shipping and exact specifications. A binding contract is only formed when we confirm your order in writing and you have paid.
3. Vehicle compatibility
You are responsible for the accuracy of the vehicle details you provide (registration, make, model, year, engine, variant). We rely on this information to specify parts. We are not liable for parts supplied to incorrect specifications where the cause is inaccurate or incomplete information from you. If you are unsure of any detail, please contact us before ordering.
4. Pricing & payment
Prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Payment is required in full before dispatch unless otherwise agreed in writing. We may withdraw or amend a quote at any time before order confirmation.
5. Delivery & risk
Delivery dates are estimates. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to the address you provide. Please inspect goods on arrival and report any damage within 48 hours.
6. Returns
Consumers have the rights set out in the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, including a 14-day right to cancel for online purchases. Returned goods must be unused, in original packaging and in resalable condition. Parts that have been fitted, partially fitted or installed are non-returnable for safety reasons. Return postage is at the customer's expense unless the goods are faulty or incorrectly supplied.
7. Warranty
Parts are covered by the manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty covers replacement parts only. It does not cover labour, removal/refitting costs, recovery, hire vehicles, loss of use, consequential damage, or damage caused by incorrect fitment, modification, accident, racing, track use or normal wear and tear.
8. Professional fitment
Suspension components are safety-critical. We strongly recommend installation by a qualified mechanic following the manufacturer's torque specifications and procedures, including a full geometry check (four-wheel alignment) afterwards. We accept no liability for damage, injury or loss arising from incorrect fitment, misuse or failure to follow manufacturer instructions.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with any order is limited to the price you paid for the goods in question. We exclude all liability for indirect, special or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of use, vehicle downtime, towing or recovery costs. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be lawfully excluded.
10. Force majeure
We are not liable for delays or failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control, including supplier delays, courier disruption, strikes, or extreme weather.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts. Consumers resident elsewhere in the UK retain any non-excludable rights under their local law.
12. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force at the time you place your order will apply.
